If IBM wait again they will lost a great piece of marketplace. The people that will migrate to linux will look for other alternative solution less expensive that domino and don't well be back to domino when there will be the linux client. I think that IBM need at least 2 year to realize the porting to linux. In the next 2 year they will lose so much. Starting today is just later......
